I love that Movie!!!!!!! The music is GREAT! Satine dies of consumption, which is the same thing as tuberculosis. Sometimes it's caused (I think) by singing too much? Hope you like it! Happy New Year!

P.S) They tell you she has consumption right after Satine & Christian are caught by Zidler. She misses dinner with the Duke adn the doctor come later & tells Zidler & Marie (set lady) that she has consumption

It was tuberculosis - coughing up blood was a dead give away but also it was commom during that time frame and in that area.
