American Women: Do you realize you can go abroad and get a much younger and more attractive man?

LOL...but only for a moment. The moment is gone when I realize what you, Greanwitch, are doing to the female populace of America...selling them a can of worms. But since you're already married, what do you care? While foreign women will marry an American man because he makes a good husband, most foreign men willing to marry an American woman would only do so to get into the country. Foreign men serious about having a family won't have anything to do with American women because their reputations as feminists puts foreign men off.

Edit - Greanwitch - The way things are and the way you paint them, as far as foreign women go, are at opposite ends of the spectrum. They have a hard time finding a man who is loyal and wants a family, and have a traditional idea of what a family should be. American men are fed up with what they have to deal with here, and so jump at the chance find a woman who places a higher value on her family (including her husband) than she does on her career. Sure, you get your occasional scam for a green card...but less often than you get a gold-digger in this country. Only women who are so hung up on money aren't able to understand the lengths a real woman would go to in order to have a family...which explains why some find it hard to understand that foreign women are NOT all after a green-card.

Yuk I wouldn't want a guy to be like that mainly because then he doesn't think for himself and he's more like a puppy dog. Puppy dogs are cute but only if they are puppy dogs.

A real man to me is sensitive, caring, animal lover, loves God and doesn't even think about worshipping me. I don't like pedestals.

I had enough of that kind of treatment in my youth. I want something much better this time. No man should be a slave to a woman and visa versa.

Now it would be kinda of funny if he did learn how to bellie dance with a grape in his belly button and sang for me in leotards. (A Joke of course) Not really but if he does have humor then that is a bonus and not a dirty mind.

Yes, there are lots of European & 3rd world young men who

would love for an older American woman to come down , bring

them home, marry them, support them, get them citizenship etc.

American men are not looking for a woman to support, care for and obtain citizenship for them...

Same thing with American men and the "mail order" Russian

and European brides....Young women looking for an older financially secure American man to take her back to America, care for her and get her citizenship..

Difference being....

Having someone care for you is more a feminine trait..

These young Eurpoean / 3rd world men being brought back

to the USA by older American women as "Trophy Husbands"

are not the dominant masculine American male that these many of these women are truly seeking and not finding.

I have to jump in on this one. Being in the military and having traveled all over I find this interesting.

Most women abroad LOVE the American male and will do anything to please them and make them comfortable. Simple things like opening the door and paying for a meal really melt these women's hearts.

You mentioned something in your passage, "financially independent". Duh!

Most of your lazy as& guys are looking for a free ride and will tell these lonely hearts anything to get a piece of that pie. American men believe in working and taking care of their women.

why would an older woman have to travel to find a young man ?

there are plenty of young men who love older women in every city in the world. It's very common.Problem is there is only one thing we may want the young man for, if we wan't one at all.

Men in their 30's & 40's (especially 40's ) have always been my favorite, since I was a teenager.

Why would I want to spend money to go abroad when I can get all of the much younger and attractive pain in the *** men right in in America.

the secret word is (if you are financially independent?I agree with one thing they handsome alright ,but it looks comes there believes ,I'm a European woman married to a great American man for 18 yrs,i would never ,never marry my own kind for many reasons ,they believe a woman's place is at home ,barefoot ,and pregnant.they raise the children ,clean the house .as a child i don't remember if my DAD knew how to boil water .

It seems incredibly naive to me that these American men REALLY believe that these girls only want "Handsome American man with which to make happy family" and that the reputation of American men worldwide is that they make the best husbands...of course, it has nothing to do with the economic and social stability of America, the higher standard of living, and greater wealth. No, of course, that has NOTHING to do with it. Out of curiosity, I went to one of these "Marriage broker" sites, and it was the most blatant pandering to the male ego you could ever see. It painted the guys who visit these sites in hope of finding "love" as the "prom kings" (direct quote!) of the world, who are seeking their true mates, the "prom queens," overseas, because most American women are the domineering, trollish, (I can almost picture the hump back!) feminist "ugly girls" in high school, that no "prom king" would ever want. LOLOLOLOL!! I laughed so hard I almost cried, my husband had to ask me what was wrong. When I showed him, he laughed his a$$ off, too!! Just the use of the childish high school imagery alone was enough, but then the OBVIOUS stroking of the male ego, it was too much! These sites obviously had something to SELL, and they were working it hard, too. almost everything that some the guys on here said about "American men making good husbands, and "American women being so undesirable because of their feminist views" is almost WORD FOR WORD what these web sites say to validate the men that NEED to find women from impoverished countries who will marry them. So, I guess these guys really believe that Anna Nichole Smith actually LOVED that cadaverous old man, it had nothing to do with wanting to get out of that tiny, backwater town and off the stripper pole, huh?

Of course, most American women would not really want to do this, we value true love over a marriage of convenience, and those of us with "social collateral"-looks, education, intelligence, morals-would never have to resort to it, (nor will we "miss" the guys who do have to!). But I understand the point you were trying to make.

What it interesting is that these men are probably far more into equality than their american counterparts who still have the misconception that the are superior to females.
