If we just forgot about global warming and carried on 'business as usual' what would it be that bad?

Since only 5% of CO2 released into the atmosphere is manmade, and since water vapor, which we have almost no control over is the most potent greenhouse gas by a large margin, go ahead and rev your engines. It makes no real difference. Its all part of a cycle that repeated many times in the earths history. Ever hear of the Ice Age, or the tropical Jurassic period?

We should all care.We are all members of the same family, but if nobody cares there would soon be anarchy. Personally I'm not totally convinced by the doom and gloom merchants about global warming. We have only been keeping records for a couple of hundred years, no time at all in geological terms. The last ice age was 10,000 years ago, again not long in geological terms. There is more pollution from volcanoes erupting than most of mans' emissions. We cannot be certain about global warming, but I think we should keep our pollution under control and everyone should care.

One more thing,I don't think that the ice caps melting will cause sea levels to rise at all. Ice is denser than water and is expanded, therefore when it melts the level will go down eg:-

Fill a tumbler with lots of ice cubes and water to the brim and leave at room temperature. When the ice cubes melt the water doesn't overflow because ice is denser and takes up less room when melted.

We should be very aware of global warming but not be paranoid.

Maybe some of your close relatives aren't 54 metres above sea level.Maybe you have to leave your little hill to buy food,necessities,etc. .Maybe everything doesn't just revolve around you.

And if we as a global community seriously decided tomorrow to address global warming, it would probably still be too late to prevent what is going to happen in the next twenty years to us.We should have done something about it twenty years ago, maybe then we could have at least lessened the effects of it today.Get ready, there are some interesting times ahead of us.

I mean, it would be considering the fact that their rather lots the reason at the back of worldwide Warming. yet such diverse human beings in the worldwide do no longer do something yet save procuring the gas who's expenses are starting to be rediculasly intense. they save complaining, yet what do they do? Pay besides. The oil business enterprise is extremely difficult, because of the fact almost all people nonetheless desires gas to gasoline their automobiles to get around. is that this confusing??? Global warming is a SERIOUS problem. Sure you can stop thinking about it for a while, but sooner or later, this is a problem EVERYONE will have to worry about.

I assume your "piece of turf" has it's own power supply, and can grow all the food you need, and you can defend it, and it has a medical facility?

To be honest i couldnt care because it is enveitable because everyone is too greedy to make sacrifices
