Do you have any allergies?

I break out in hives if I take aspirin. (happened as when I was a kid, so I haven't risked it since then).

The funny this is, it means I cant take things like ibuprofen or PeptoBismol, etc. When I was in the hospital when I had my baby, they put a colored wristband on me that said I'm allergic to ASA (Acetyl Salicylic Acid= Aspirin). The dumb nurses gave me ibuprofen, and when I found out I asked if they hadn't noticed my wristband! The nurse says, "Yeah, but ASA means acetaminophen". LOL. I wondered where those nurses got their training!

I have some normal and then weird allergies:

pollen, mold: the usual suspects

hydrochloric acid: I discovered this when our science teacher had us sample it and the taste buds on my tongue swelled up

sour patch kids and other similar candies: makes my tastebuds swell and gives me itchy swollen eyes

Anything really salty: popcorn, cheez-its etc make my tastebuds swell up too

Albuterol also makes me incredibly weak and light-headed although I guess that is pretty common. Fortunately none of my allergies have proven to be dangerous... just incredibly annoying!

Bugga codeine is good. I have no allergies but my husband is allergic to penicllan he vomits and vomits and his head spins (not around)

I'm allergic to pennicillin..I get a rash.

I have seasonal allergies and allergies to cats. Which is too bad cuz I own 3 cats.

my 16 month old son cant have dairy or eggs and cant go near cats hair, poor little guy he had really bad ecemza from almost birth it was so bad he looked like a burns child. hes better now with the ecemza but still cant have egg or dairy.

I think I am allergic to everything on this planet its terrible...dogs, cats, weeds, pollen etc...I get sneezy and watery eyes- its just terrible. And I am allergic to Penicillin and I will break out in hives with that. I absolutely HATE allergies!!!

Yeah...I have allergy to some nuts such as almond and filbert and after taking them i face an awful itching in my throat.

I got nose allergies,sometimes it goes away then comes back like the flu and stays then goes away...ahhh man I hate it,

I washed my hair with Pantene Pro-V once and broke out in these massssiveee hives.

I had to wash my hair again to prevent me from scratching off my scalp.

I am allergiz to sulfa drugs, break out in hives, hands swell and throat swells.
