what do u people think about what bush i saying???

As much as I want them to come home now, they need alot of help to finish the job. Once they do, yes, bring them all home.

Unfortunately Bush isn't saying it yet, just the media is reporting it. Until Bush gives his speech and outlines his whole plan we won't be able to form an informed opinion.

But on the surface the idea sounds right. There are more than enough troops to fight the insurgents or provide security, but not enough to do both. By increasing the number so both taskls can be accomplished perhaps we'll be closer to getting the troops home.

I do want to hold my judgment until he actually says it tonight. But if he wants to escalate rather than withdraw, he will be virtually alone. Many are debating whether we should follow him just because he is president. In my view, his track record (Sept. 11, driving up the national debt, incompetent response to Katrina, instituting torture, misleading us into war in Iraq, squandering our reputation, etc) does not justify trust in him as a leader. If we had a parliamentary system, we would have ousted him in a vote of NO CONFIDENCE.

they already increased the troops.. was there any accomplishments? and i also read that they might be pulling back by November...hmmm... makes me wonder... thats the elections.... i just hope all the stuff i'm reading is just BS and Bush will come out and turn things around...
