There are some problems that soldiers are reporting that the media doesn't. The Iraqi army, called IA, does not want the US to leave. This would mean that they would have to fight their own war. So, not only are they not ready, they don't want to be.

Second, when intelligence shows that known terrorists are hiding in location A and thats where the troops go, the bad guys move to location B until the troops leave, then go back to location A.

Another problem is that by attacking the Iranian embassy in Iraq, the US has just launched at attack on Iran. Their embassy is soverign Iranian soil and that has just set the stage for the fighting to move into Iran. We really need to get out of there.

Iraqi people have been long victim of sanctions. There was need to address the issue. President Bush wanted a Democratic Iraq by overthrowing Saddam. Invasion of Iraq was never welcomed. Now insurgency has brought great miseries to the people of Iraq. Leaving the situation as it is, will definitely harm American interest and there will be great bloodshed. Peaceful solution is to be found with the help of neighboring countries. Protection of Iraq people is the responsibility of all the countries.

Great idea you have there. I totally agree. Let's get out now. why put our soldiers lives at risk for a bunch of savages. Let them eradicate the weaker groups and allow the strong to survive. Why do we want to help anyone? It makes no sense. We should allow one group to commit genocide on the other so we only have to deal with 1/2 the people next time. Maybe we could help kill the babies before we go.

War is killing people: men, women, and childen, so you're asking if killing people is good or bad. I'm sure it's bad.

You think US solidiers should get out, others think you're right that soldiers should leave immediately except for a few who want to exploit first before leaving. I agree with you. However, it's very unfortunate that US government is 'not for the people'. I really don't know where it is receiving mandate..

I think we should stay. They are helping innocent people who are being tortured just like people were being tortured in the holocaust and in rwanda. When that movie hotel rawanda came out, the whole nation was like "I can't believe we didn't help them" but when we do help, like we are helping iraquis right now, people get angry, and just want to save the americans. Men and women who are in the army aren't forced to be there and they know what they are getting themselves into. It's not fair that people over there shouldn't get help from other countires. How would you feel if someone barged into your house and took over, torturing your family and killing whoever they want, wouldn't you want help??
