does creatine monohydrate have any side effects to a persons bosy because after taking it i've realised a feeling that you get after you've taken flu medication its like it has codeine and also my brother was using it and he said it was decreasing his strength instead of increasing it like they say it does....is it bad to use it?

If you want to use creatine, I would use estrinated creatine instead of creatine monohydrate because it is absorbed into the body easier. Creatine monohydrate does not absorb very easily and has a way of upsetting the digestive system. Studies have shown, although contriversial, that the liver can be adversely affected by unabsorbed creatine.
