What treatment other than operation for pinched nerves?

Pinched nerves in neck. 3and 4 vertebra is pressing on spinal cord- no use of right arm. Is there any medication to ease pain and regain use of arm. I have done MRI.andhave been seeing a chiropractor but doesn't seem to help.

    I'm thinking T3 and T4.

What you need is to un pinch them.

This may be more difficult while the area is traumatized and swollen, but if it's been a while and not swollen, try to move it and stretch in any way possible while you are yawning, it may help you manipulate your spine with the air in your lungs as you inspire, but also it may cause your spinal cord and peripheral nerve roots to quiver or move at the same time, if you can't move the arm itself, let it hang with gravity and move the body.

If you get help from this, please send me an email - usually the longer the nerve damage continues the less the chances of recovery, but there is a chance of spontaneous remmission if you can reestablish the circulation of the neural transport system.

I've been seeing a commercial for a chiropractor in my town (Columbus, OH) alot lately, about this new non surgery procedure for fixing that exact same problem. They said its effective 75% of the time.

I haven't seen it lately, but I recall they inject something in the back, between the vertebrae's that make the disks expand and thus releaving pressure against the nerve. Not sure what the name of the procedure is, but ask some chiropractors in your area if they have heard of this...

My husband had the same problem didn't want to undergo any more surgery's on back so he was seeing a doctor ( can't think of the name of the doctor ) for therapy. They would lay him on a table that would stretch his body. Also, he saw a Anesthesiologist and got shots for a while. Both treatments seem to help him for the problems he was having at the time.

I just had a car accident, going to water therapy and massage therapy. I am holding off on the chiropractor and accupuncture, but they are other alternatives.

Go see an Accupuncturist. They can help with the pain and may be able to recommend you to someone who can help with making it go away...

Get your medical doctor to refer you to a physical therapist.
