I would figure out what is causing the issue first. It may just be a bad driver or something.
Upload 4 or 5 of your latest minidumps to the forum located here:
Your latest minidumps can be located at:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump
Your hidden folders will have to be viewable. You can do this by opening explorer (Windows - explorer.exe), and clicking Tools/Folder Options/View and scroll down to Hidden Files and Folders.
If System Restore is activated, try it first. If a recovery of your hard drive/OS is necessary, you have two options to consider:
a "non-destructive reformat" or a "destructive reformat". A non-destructive reformat will only replace the system/OS files to their original "factory shipped condition" without erasing any other data on your PC. The destructive reformat option will completely erase all of your data on your comp and completely reinstall windows.

this won't be comparable to your project, yet I have been given the "blue show of dying" from turning on my on the spot button. a couple of minutes after turning it on, notwithstanding if i circulate on cyber web or not, the blue show of dying comes up and my computing gadget restarts. to repair this, I purely went on the producer web site and downloaded a record that fixed it. I actual have a Sony Vaio computer so I purely went to sony help.

Yes select the repair option but prior 2 re-install do the F8 and try "last good configuration".

It depends. You can repair the install, which will hopefully preserve your files, or you can choose to do a clean install, which WILL erase everything!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
