  • How much does it cost to have the screen replaced on my HTC Evo?

It fell out of my purse and the screen shattered but the phone still works, even the touch screen (it shattered but is still intact). I have Sprint, does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have it replaced?

  • What to make with pears?

My friend gave me about 60 small homegrown pears that are not yet soft enough to eat. Even when they are soft enough, I will never be able to eat them all! I am looking for some ideas or simple recipes that can use up a lot of these pears (and I DO mean simple, I am not very handy in the kitchen). Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

  • Why is my xbox 360 screen darker than normal?

I have one of the new 360s, the black ones with built in wireless and touch buttons. This morning I started it up and found that the screen is much darker than normal, almost as if the screen dimmer is on permanently. No, the settings on my tv have not changed, I checked. What's more, after about 2 minutes or so the screen goes completely black! I do have a Kinect that I unplugged yesterday to move it, but I have plugged it back in. I've only had my xbox for about 6 months. Please help!

  • How do I stop my puppy from being overly excited about food?

Here are the facts, please don't answer without reading first:

    1. My pug puppy is about 3 1/2 months old.

    2. She has never been fed human food, we do not give her anything we are eating EVER.

    3. There are no other dogs in the house.

    4. We feed her the amount and frequency that is recommended by the vet for puppies her age and size.

    5. We make her sit and wait until we put her food on the ground, and she can only start eating when we say it is ok.

    6. The PROBLEM: While she is sitting waiting for her food she is literally trembling with excitement. She never breaks eye contact with her food bowl, and she freaks out when she knows we are making her food. We can get her to sit and stay, but as soon as we tell her it's ok to eat she shoves her face in her bowl and eats franticly, with food flying everywhere. We really want her to be able to accept her food without scarfing it and being so excited. I know she is a puppy and I know it is a survival instinct for her to want to get to her food quickly, but I have seen other dogs have very good manners when being fed. I also know that it is going to take time to train her, I just want to know if we are on the right track and if there is anything else we should be doing. Please don't say she is too young, because she has learned to sit and stay very quickly and she is well on her way to being house trained. Anyone with good dog experience know how to chill this food excitement? Thanks for your help.

  • Taking sodas in my checked luggage?

I am soon to take a flight and I want to bring a couple of my favorite local sodas with me to share with friends. I have heard of shampoo and what-not exploding in CHECKED LUGGAGE (not carryon). But this has never happened to me. These drinks are not as carbonated as a regular soda. I plan to put them in plastic ziplocks just in case, but if they are sure to explode then I won't even bother. Does anyone have any experiences?

  • How do I stop bad B.O. before it starts?

I am a 25 year old female and just recently I started having very bad body odor from my armpits. I never used to be like this. Deoderant doesn't do anything. Yes, I shower regularly. I've heard that it can be caused by something in your diet? And it can be countered also by eating something? Is this true? What can I do?

  • Have you ever heard a voice?

This is a serious question, I'm not talking about a voice inside your head... I'm talking about a voice OUTSIDE your head.

The other day when I was at work, I went into the storage closet to get something. I entered the closet and right after the door shut behind me I heard a whisper to the left of me. But to my left there was a wall and there was no one in the room but me. The whisper was short and it was clearly there, but I didn't understand what it said. I wasn't scared or frightened either. This doesn't happen to me often, but it has happened before, maybe once or twice that I can remember.

Does this ever happen to anyone else? Do you think it's just our minds playing tricks on us, like how sometimes we see things that aren't there?

  • A product for hair that breaks?

I have wavy frizzy hair, I style most of it wavy but I flat iron my bangs (their natural curvy is just too funky). Lately my bangs have been breaking off about half way, leaving me with a LOT of fly-aways that have split ends. ****I am well aware of the fact that flat ironing my hair is bad for it and that this is what is causing the problem**** I use low heat and I already use a silk hair serum. I've cut back on using my iron, but I still do it occasionally. Is there a product I can use that will help my bangs regain strength? How about something that is meant to be used with heat?

  • Why do I talk in my sleep so much?

I talk in my sleep almost every night (I have been told so). When I am told what I have said, it never makes any sense and it doesn't relate to any dreams I can remember. Often I cry or yell like I am being attacked. Why do I do this? How can I just chill out and sleep like a normal person??

  • Is it difficult to get a Visa in Japan?

I'm moving to Japan with the intent to live. It's not professional and I can see you all frowning already. But I'm going to do it one way or another and that's why I am asking for your help! I want real people's stories and experiences. I've looked through every Japan Guide on the internet, I've read books, I want to hear from you guys. I'm not a student and can't afford to be one. If you've read my other question, you know I have an AA but not a BA and I want to teach english. I'm packing up in October and I'm going to do everything I can to stay there.
