Why do people put their trash in the back of other peoples pickup trucks?

I'm not really sure! My father in-law does this all the time. I guess because they can. Maybe you should post a sign on your tail-gate stating " NO DUMPING VIOLATORS WILL BE PUNISHED WITH DEATH!!!!" Just a suggestion.

Buy a tonneau cover. I did and no one puts anything in the back of my truck because they're too lazy to open up the tonneau and throw it in there.

Bottom line: People are lazy. You totally did the right thing, but I would have shoved trash in that fool's exhaust pipe. He won't be going anywhere until he gets it all out of there. Disrespectful moron deserves what he gets.

The reason that people who throw things in the back of our trucks is, they haven't owned a truck and have seen rednecks drive with junk in there bed. So many people do that because they've seen it and they were just plain lazy.

I saw a lady do that to my truck and i followed her home and dumped a garbage bag of junk all over her car.

I've never heard of anyone doing such a thing, but obviously it happens. I've thrown a moutain dew bottle in the back of a couple friends' trucks just as a joke but I would never dump a bunch of trash in their trucks or a complete stranger's. You did the right thing by trashing their vehicle. They deserve it and maybe they'll get the hint that you don't like their junk in your truck bed.

this really ticks me off. i woke up this morning and someone had left a food bowel with a fork and a bag of trash in my truck bed. this crap happens to me all the time. anyways I am glad you found the guy and gave him some payback, ubfortunatly when this happens to me i never seem to catch them. if i did i would follow them and dump a trash bag full of garbage on there car or in front of there door.

Total disrespect. I am not sure why people do these things but if I were you I would have just put their trash back in their truck and dont sink to their level.

I see that alot too.... I dont own a truck but someone would hit my neighbors truck relentlessly, one morning he had an old rug sticking out the back and he was cussing up a storm, someone threw it in there.... I was laughing cuz it looked so funny, but I can understand why he was mad.

Probably they think its funny.. Been tormenting my Step Dad for years with a "thirst buster" cup till he flipped his ****. Came out of the house yelling about being disrespectful, then proceeds to throw the cup back at me. Then ignored me and my family while paying lots of attention to everybodyelse visiting my Mom..Guess he showed me, won't be doing that again, or staying at my moms.....

They are rude!
