why is the right obsessed with the left?

For the same reason that the left is obsessed with the right. With out 1, the other could not exist.

I know there are intelligent Conservatives out there, but most that spout the the loudest don't understand the reasoning behind a truthfully Conservative view. I can appreciate a Conservatives views, but not the loud, meaningless noise (for that matter, by people of either side)..It's mostly name calling and twisting of facts....I would love to have a real heart to heart with a conservative who believed what he did, not because of right wing talk shows or a "bomb Iran just in case" attitude. I am less understanding of an ignorant position that proposes violence than i am for an ignorant position (that would go overboard on environmentalism for example) that doesn't hurt anyone or get the US in a world of hurt

Back in the 80's poll after poll showed that people disapproved of Reagan's policies, buy loved the guy.

Since then, poll after poll shows that the overwhelming majority of Americans support Democratic policies, but call themselves either moderates or conservatives. Thus the power of propaganda.

The right has to demonize the Left because if people actually viewed Leftist policies objectively, Republicans would never get away with their anti- individual, pro-corporation agenda.

Republicans are all about greed amd control. Who would support that?

Whats the big deal with left and right anyways? Why is everyone so angry with everyone else? It makes no sense to me that people choose to constantly yell and complain about the other side instead of agreeing to disagree. What have you got to lose in admitting we all have different views but that is what america is about, differences. People need to to stop being so dam selfish and start acting like the UNITED states of america. I am not one of those world peace hippie people or what ever I am just sick of the fact that people come here and ask dumb questions instead of questions that could really help out and make a differnce for the better.

A lot of the Dems did vote against the war. A hundred and some of them in the House. The Rightards keep saying that the Dems voted for it, so it becomes like fact. It's not fact.

A hundred and some of them voted against it, including Nancy Pelosi. I'm guessing those are the ones that KNEW it was lies out of the Rightard camp before the rest of us did. AKA the ones that were DOING THEIR JOB.

It's due to the change of power. They don't understand that most of the people in this country actually WANT issues to be resolved. We've taken the first step. Now we have to stick with our decisions.

It's the LEFT who keep trying to take things from us in the name of "fairness and freedom of equality" grow up a little bit, pay more taxes and live life and your views will mellow out in time.
