Deffense against wrongful violation accusations?

Recently someone took a grudge against me. If you look at my questions and answers, Im not a nasty person at all but someone reported me several times for really no reason. I lost points for no reason, which doesnt bother me much but I certainly don't want my account deleted. (Ive had it for over 5 years)

In the violation notices, it has a link to click if you think it was given in error, but I havent heard anything back yet. Is there any deffense against this? Is there anything in the WORKS to defend against this?

Well you spend a lot of time on the religious boards, which is a simply wonderful place to pick up a personal troll of your own no matter how carefully you tread. The political ones are bad enough.

At a level 6 you really have to work to get your account deleted. Yahoo tends to allow you a transgression or two. I would not let a few violation notices worry you in that regard. Fighting them is more time than it is worth.

Aside from the good advice you were given by another poster about protesting a violation notice, my suggestion would be:

    (1) Lay off the religion board for about 2 weeks. The troll will get bored looking for you.

    (2) When you come back, change your avitar. People remember the picture a whole lot longer than they remember the account name.

And if you are really paranoid about your account, buy a service - it does not matter what, from yahoo. I use premium mail partially for that reason. They think more than twice about deleting and account that is making them money.

Yes, as I've found out in the last several days. Someone has taiken a grudge against me, and so far I've lost over 160 points to this individual. Most of them are up for review.

Anyway, what you do is save the violation notices in your email, go to the link "forum" on the upper right hand of your screen right underneath the web-search button, and then go to the topic entitled, "wrongful violations" and cut and paste the violation notices into a message. Be sure that you are logged in under your YA screename, or that you tell them what your screenname is. Also, if there are multiple violation notices, it helps to put a dotted line between them to make it easier to differentiate. Also, If you have many of them, you'll need to divide them between several messages, because they have only a 4000 character limit.

You got a reputation. I'm one of your friends. You are one of my friends.

I heard a rumor of one guy who got his question restored. As you know the jim darwin accounts dont last long. One made it to level 5, most fizzle at level 3.

The defense is indefensible. You have your reputation.

If you must "start over" and protect your email, do so, and climb up to level 5 again.

I was first deleted in December of 2005. At that point they did not delete my email so my original email still exists which I used to get jobs, etc.

So, my advice, start an account thats exclusively "answers".

Your friends will recognize your logo. If they doubt its you you can email them and tell them its you.

For example, I know you, you know me, we've talked in instant message, we know that the other is a good person,

    thats your reputation.

And Jesus said, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!"

    Thanks, RR
