Has anyone ever stayed at Saratoga Springs resort in Walt Disney World?
I am taking the family there on vacation in April. We are Disney Vacation Club members and have stayed at a few of the resorts, but never at Saratoga Springs. Is there a food court? A restaurant? How accessible is it to the parks and other attractions.
I have been there 7 times in the last 14 years, including on my honeymoon. We have stayed at the All-Star movies twice, the Polynesian, Contemporary, and Caribbean Beach. I was just wondering how S.Springs compares to the others.

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort is the newest of the Walt Disney World Resorts, I believe. It's quite large, and I think it's very nice there. There is one quick service restaurant in the Resort called the Artist's Palette where you can order sandwiches, salads, fresh-from-the-oven pizzas, calzones and focaccias, family-size entrees, and more. There's also one new sit-down table service restaurant called the Turf Club Bar & Grill (the restaurant just opened this past summer, so I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I have reservations for this summer).
As for accessibility to the parks, shuttle transportation it your only option, except there is a water launch to Downtown Disney. To get to any of the four theme parks or two water parks you'll have to use the shuttles, but it's complimentary, and it's really not bad at all. It's usually reliable, and you don't often have to wait to long for a shuttle to come pick you up. To get to Downtown Disney you can just take the complimentary water launch if you'd like, but you may also just take a shuttle.
Hope I could help! Have fun!

Saratoga Springs is located right across the lake from Downtown Disney. So you're pretty much right in the middle of them all and closest to Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Saratoga Springs is geared more for adults traveling without children. They have a great day spa and terrific golfing. They don't have a food court per say (you'll only find a food court style place at the All Star Hotels), but they do have several restaurants. And since Downtown Disney is so close by, you'll have plenty of dining options there as well. My favorite Downtown Disney restaurants include Bongos and Wolfgang Pucks.
If you'll be traveling with kids, I recommend any of the following hotels, which are great for families:
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Polynesian
Wilderness Lodge
Boardwalk
Coronado Springs
All Star
I typically recommend Saratoga Springs for adults traveling without children - but no matter where you plan to stay, you'll be sure to receive terrific hospitality!

I've stayed at Saratoga Springs four times. Yes there is a small court however, you are within walking distance to downtown Disney. You can take a bus to the park and I recommend you do as you will not have to fight traffic. You get to the parks quickly and you can get in early as well. The rooms were great but the one problem I did have was finding it the first time. It's kind of hidden.
