Will you listen to President Bush tonight?

I am a US American born citizen!

This is my opinion, and my right to express my feelings. I really get upset by the slashings given to President Bush.

1. He was elected to do the job. I might not agree with all things, but he is the President.

2. You, as a citizen, have the right to object to his work.

3. But you should support his decisions. Please open your minds to facts, not mis-informed judgemental people.

4. Our troops are fighting a war against terrorism, so you may continue to have the freedoms you have. Especially of free speech. Even words against the President of the US to people like me.

I encourage you to express your thoughts and answers to this, and I would appreciate if you would keep it clean and decent.

My love for our country is great!

So please answer if you will.

Carefully listen to our President tonight and listen to what he has to say before attacking/appreciating my statement?

You can see by alot of the answers here that people arent interested in finding out what is going on.

They arent insterested in finding out what the president is planning.

They arent interested in being objective at all.

They some have become bitter... some were that way all along.

Some 'want' a reason to bitcch about things.

The war in Iraq has no bearing on our liberties. When we went into Iraq it had no bearing on the overall "war on terror". It does now because of the way the war has been mismanaged. I will not support his decisions if I believe that they are damaging to this country. It's not just my right as American to speak out, its my duty as a citizen.

As for the address tonight, it's pure politics. That's all the State of the Union message ever is. That's why I don't take it too seriously. I want to see actions, not just hear rhetoric.

the most ironic element about "Liberals", is they don't even understand the that technique of the time period! through definition, Liberals are meant to be the human beings with an open concepts, who're receptive to distinct factors of view. it is how the time period received acceptance because it turned right into a praise to be seen someone who would heavily evaluate opposing factors of view and make an enlightened, rational determination. Conservatives were meant to be the stubbornly close minded ones. My, how issues have replaced. Liberals are so illiberal. Belonging to the celebration of ageing, douch- bag hippies, druggies, dumb-*** college youthful ones who imagine they understand all of it, welfare mommas, the chronically disillusioned, the uneducated and the lazy, liberals have this loopy concept that they have got the moral severe floor. the purely element they have a lock on is hypocrisy. Will they pay interest? it doesn't count number, because maximum liberals don't have adequate mind count number to procedure thoughts more suitable complicated than what they listen on Jerry Springer or Comedy substantial (with all apologies to Steven Colbert, who's dazzling.... and extremely humorous)

I absolutely will be watching our Commander in Chief's Address this evening. He comes on live, I have a video card and a cable internet connection so I can watch the Address right there at the PC and then field the insane Republican "spin" questions which will flood YA right after.

I promise you I will not jump anyone til the Democrats have had their chance to respond (and crap away whatever advantage the speech gave them).

yes ,I will LIsten, and Yes ,I will desern for myself if I agree with what he has to say,and yes If I dis agree I will State my objections publically.and I am a proud american.

1.no he wasn't elected by the people ,he was selected by the electorate college.

2.well thank you for telling me of my rights, however as every american should know all of their rights without having to be told ,and I believe most do.thank you for your public service efforts.

3.no ,your wrong on this one,you should support his dicisions only if you agree with them and if you do not it is your duty as a citizen to state you objections publically and as loudly as possible. and "open mind" in politics means "listen to me" so becarefull who's mind your attempting to manipulate, any infomation that is made public from this administration has been wrong after the fact so be leary of what is released and weigh the information as it is stated straight forward or round about the issue .

4.our troop are fighting against what ever they are being told to fight against so support them for they have a hard job with great risk and little reward and their presents in Iraq does not protect my freedom here in america it protects the incoent Iraqi's who have no choice but to live in the battle zone this administration has put in there yards.well if censorship is how you view free speach then you have no Idea what free speach is.

ever heard of the patriot act well it is the begining to the end of free speech.

this is by no means against the president of the U.S. to people like you ,you are a free thinking individual human being as as such I applaud you for saying what is on your mind and stating publically what you think.and I respect it.

5.thanks for your encouragement and I hope I shared my point relitavly level headed so as it is not looked upon as an attack for it is no such thing.

as is mine and many others here as well I am sure.

as always honesty and respect will bridge more gaps than lies and disrespect.

I'll listen to him very intently and paying close attention. I'll be watching and listening to see how much he appeals to fear in his language. He has never done a thing I support. His policies are not worth supporting and therefore he doesn't deserve it. And, I really doubt that he will suggest something I will agree with or support unless it is a full pull out of Iraq by the end of the year. That's what the majority of americans want.

Yes I will listen to his speech tonight. The war on terror is not a conventional war and cannot be measured that way. Bush has done some amazing things for the economy and I want to hear him address healthcare.

I will not listen to Webb's rebuttal. Heard it, disagree with it, don't want to hear it again.

I'd rather have a proctologist pull my teeth out through my butt.

This man has nothing to tell us. If I want to have a laugh, I'll watch a stand up comic, at least I know a comic doesn't take himself seriously.

    2008 will set America straight.

The donkey or the elephant, I don't care who becomes the next president, I just know it won't be a member of the Bush crime family.

If you truly loved your country, you wouldn't blindly kowtow to a leader who has betrayed the oath of office in everything he's done. Instead, you'd be a true patriot and follow Teddy Roosevelt's mandate.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

    Theodore Roosevelt

  • I pray the judges that elected him listen to his speech. I hope they never in their wildest dreams try and pick our President again. I pray they learn from their mistakes. Someday I pray we have a President that behaves like he is leading a Nation Under God.
