Does anyone have gift ideas for daughter's 17th birthday?

Sometimes modern teens enjoy to spend time with their moms, sometimes they like to be left alone, who knows...It also depends on your budget, but a nice trip abroad might be fine as well as a good CD.

Ask your daughters friends.They will have an idea of what she likes and what is hip. Or take a day off and go window shopping with your daughter to get some ideas. I always give kids gift cards from the mall . You can get cards that can be used in any stores in the mall. A manicure and pedicure for her and a friend is good.

The best thing you could get is a gift card to a music store or a season of her favorite show on dvd.

If you have alot of money I would suggest a car! But for the average person maby some nice clothes or some jewlery or even a gift certificate or cash.

I'm not a teen, but I would say gift cards, that way she can pick out whatever she wants. Does she have a cell phone? If it's prepaid, you could buy her some minutes, or accessories.

When I'm confused on what to get someone for their birthday. I get them a gift card from their favorite store. This way they can get what they want.
