I have worked in radio for 20+ years and WKRP has always been one of my favorite shows. If you like KRP, you will probably like the 1978 movie FM....GREAT MOVIE! JAN SMITHERS IS HOT!!!!!!

Still my #1 favorite comedy show of all time.

The only bad part is that it won't have all of the original music. They had to do some replacements. I don't mind that much because the versions they've shown on Nick and TVLand and such have been the syndicated versions with mostly replacement music anyway. There are many fans out there who will refuse to buy it because of the changes.

I will be getting it, of course. The original versions with all the music just aren't going to ever be aired again. If this is the best that it's going to get, especially that stations hardly rerun them, then I want what I can get. Just a sign of how the music licensing and copyrights have become in this day and age, and 'KRP got caught coming out when it did back then when there were no such future considerations as VHS, DVD, etc that they could have worked into the licensing at that time.

Remember, keep your eye out for phone cops... they play hardball!

i could no longer locate any DVDs as you had requested. in spite of if under is a link from a information superhighway-internet site that makes a proof for why they think that WKRP is unquestionably no longer launched on DVD. something to do with the track that became into performed on the series and in all probability having to pay royalties to the artists featured.

I remember the show well, it had some of the funniest moments.

Les Nesman and the "I didn't know turkeys can't fly" That was a riot.... Sure i would like to add these episodes to my DVD collection......

As one of the few TV shows that was voted to have never "jumped the shark", this one will probably be a hit.
