Question

ok i'm sometimes hang out w/ this guy cause he's funny but that's like it.  now i think he likes me, which is NOT a good thing, cause if there's one word to describe going out w/ him, its EW.  my friends think he'll ask me to the upcoming dance.  i'll say no, of course, but how should i w/out breaking his heart?

if you dont want to go to the dance with him depends if the dance is in the next week them make yourself sick or something like that, and if is at the end of this month, then start trying not to hang out with him

you know who the most popular people are?   the ones who are nice to everyone..   so go to the dance with the guy, tell him he is really a great guy but let him know your intresed in a specific other guy.   goin to the dance wont hurt anything, besides youll feel better later on in life if you treated one ugly person to a nice nite.

just tell him graciously, that you value your friendship with him too much to jeapordize it by taking it to another level. i married my best friend, and it ruined our friendship. we were crazy to think that being best friends for 10 or 11 years would be grounds for a solid marriage. six months later, i bolted.

i think it is impossible not to break a guys heart.but i think you should always be honest with him and yourself.if you don't you will only be lying to yourself.
