    Matthew 6:9-15 "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.

    And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

    5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

    Matthew 6:8-10 (New International Version)

    New International Version (NIV)

    8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

    9"This, then, is how you should pray:

    " 'Our Father in heaven,

    I do not think it should be repeated as such it was simply an example of how we should pray and again the priests missed the point.

    hallowed be your name,

    10your kingdom come,

    your will be done

    on earth as it is in heaven.

    ~~~ sacanda,,,,When you find it,,,Please pay particular attention to the very first line when Jesus announces to his Brothers & Sisters (us) that "OUR FATHER who art in Heaven,,,,etc". This INFERS and SUPPORTS everything Jesus taught(as well as Buddha, Krishna, etc, etc,) ,,,, is that HE was NO different than us,,, and if we follow HIS TEACHINGS we can accomplish ANYTHING he did on Earth. The Clergy has tweaked HIS message so that one can only(dogma) 'find jesus' (spiritual salvation) through their Rules & Regulations (more dogma).
