Super Bowl question...?
How did the word "WORLD champs" get into the super bowl when only United States teams are considered for playoffs and to play in the super bowl?
Shouldn't the term be "United States Champions"?

Techinically yes. But there is no other league that competes at the level the National Football League does. No other league is trying to dispute the claim either.

Your world champs of that sport. But, actually, there are leagues in Europe, and soon, Asia. The European one has millions of fans, they sell-out too, with a 12 team league now. I think that's how many.

The NFL is only in the United States. So they are the world champs in the NFL world....i think.

The league does feature players of many nationalities ... the best players who play this game play in the NFL ... in that broad sense, they are "world" champions. The league is not restricted to only American players.
