Question about a tattoo seen on Miami Ink- click for more details?

Anyone watch Miami Ink?

I saw a tattoo on there a while ago and I really want to know the artist of it and to try to find a picture of it online.

It was a portrait for someone but instead of a normal portrait, the image was done in like bubbles. It was big and across the persons back and I think it was of the persons two children, and the image was inside the bubbles. It was amazing and i loved the idea of the image being inside the bubbles- i was thinking of getting something similar but wanted the picture as a reference.

I'm thinking it was Kat who did it because it was a portriat but not sure.

So if anyone saw this episode and knows the artist who did it and could tell me that'd be great. A link to an image of it would be even better.

This is a long shot but thought it was worth a try!

Thanks for the response saying to check the site. I'm aware that the person who does the tattoo is usually the artist, i'm sure that was the case but I can't remember who that was! I've checked Kat's section on the TLC site and it's not there but it might be one of the others so I will look there! I'd still like more info if anyone else knows though!

    Hi, I think it was Kat as well. But they do have a section on the website that you can e-mail them. But I think you would have better luck at this site. This is where she works the other half of the year... I think she is in Miami march thru Dec. but I may have that confused with Garver...

    Usually on Miami Ink, the person doing the tattoo draws it, unless the client comes in with their own picture. If you go to tlc.com, they have a gallery of some of the tattoos on the show. Hope this helps

    It was Kat Von D but not every tattoo is posted since they have done thousands. Maybe you could rent the DVD or something, although I'm sure if you describe it to your artist they'll know what you're talking about.
