Tough decisions vs. Right decisions?

I don't understand why Conservatives think Bush is a great president because he makes "tough" decisions and sticks with them. What if those decisions are wrong?

I mean, would you seriously rather have someone in the White House who is so inflexible that they can't listen to anybody else and change their decisions when they are not working? Is that actually somebody to emulate and admire?

The republicans can not say anything Bad about Bush because they will be admitting to their own stupidity.

I don't think he's a "great" president. But I don't think Iraq was a "tough" decision, either. It was the RIGHT decision.

I've yet to see it proven to be wrong, regardless of how many people have now flip-flopped on their one-time support.

And even if it had been a wrong decision, then pulling out now would be an even more wrong a decision. Not that you'd admit that, eh?

No, we just think his tough decisions ARE the right ones.

It is the liberals that think that just because the decisions are tough, they must be wrong.
