How many women like to watch horror, suspense, and scary movies?

I love scary movies. It's fun since I know all I have to do is turn the TV off if I get too scared. Zombie and alien movies scare me most. There's something about the thought of being chased by a scary monster that terrifies me. I like the fact that its all fantasy and not for real.

Yes, I often rent Scary/Suspenseful movies and watch them by myself, usually when my husband is watching a sports related show. I don't know why either, but I remember growing up my older sis and I would go spend the night at our cousins(2 girls) and watch scary movies. It was always a blast! I also remember we would all four sit by each other, but my older sis and one of my cousins always had to sit in the middle and made me and another cousin sit at the ends, because they were scared! I look back and laugh at it now! I guess I can seperate reality vs. scary movie, so it doesn't bother me that much.

I love scary movies, the sit at the edge of your seat and watch through your fingers scary movie. I do not like bloody and gory movies. I also love haunted houses at Halloween. Being scared gets your adrenalin going and gives you a feel good feeling

Suspense is good, and I love a psychological thriller, but you can keep the "Scary" movies, too many are just the same boring outline. Some of them are pretty comical though.

I love scary movies. I don't know but I love to get really frighten and go home and think about that movie at night.

I like to watch them too. I also sometimes think they are funny, thats weird. not many people I know like them but I dont like to watch any movie by myself so theres a small dilema that I dont really know how to resolve.. but I will keep on watching them alone, although some times I can get my girls to watch them with me and then I am judged by others who say they are bad for my kids who are ages 11 and 18 but they never seem to have any night mares from it they laugh with me and sometimes we get scared but its fun anyway. becides Bambi was a realll scary movie if you ask me.

I'm female, and I love horror movies... They're usually made to be scary, but can often look cheesy and funny. I love them, its like comedy for me...

I love them because they delve away from movie standards, usually. They are creepy, weird and fun! I love seeing the reactions of my friends who I KNOW are squeamish, and random strangers who jump ten feet in the air because someone suddenly got their head chopped off on screen. Its so much fun! I think we all like to entertain our dark side too.

I do. I like to try to find a movie that actually can scare me. So far only The Omen and The Exorcist (the originals) have scared me.
