Denny's Restaurant?

The rule for Denny's is "You'll never have a bad meal there, but you'll never have a great one, either." I've recently eaten at Denny's in a few different locations and the rule still applies. The breakfast is okay, but a bit greasy for me, lunch and dinner (but keep it simple, meat loaf, pork chops, etc) is better.

The Denny restaurants were located near the Interstate off ramps so maybe they just seem okay when you are hungry and tired...

Impossible question to answer. First of all, there are hundreds of Denny's and every one is different- availability of fresh produce, quality of the wait staff and most importantly, the experience and skill level of the cooks all contribute to the differences. I avoid Dennys as a rule. Their claim to fame has NEVER been their food, but the fact that they are everywhere and they never close. I do, though, occasionally like a good Moon over My-hammy.

Denny's, at least where i live (Tucson, AZ), is no longer worth going to. No more dreams of the Grand Slam breakfast's we once enjoyed as children. Now it's laregely a smoking section indoors, terrible servers giving 3rd rate service.

I like Denny's. They let you hang out and drink coffee as long as you want- keep bringing you more coffee. The food isn't 3 star but for the price- the servings are generous and tasty. Let's go!

well the days of when you were a kid are gone.. i loved dennys then too..

now.. sad to say the last two times i went there was a cockroach crawling across the wall by where we were eating.. and then the other time.. the kitchen people were screaming and yelling rat. wow.. not even close to being cool my family now goes to cracker barrel.. YUM

Well, the breakfast items are usually okay!! But the rest of the food ISN'T!!! I'm not a big breakfast person, so I've chosen not to go back. The service was okay..... I'd give it a 5 on a 10 point scale. And your tastes change with age...... SO?? Who knows???

I love Denny's and even though there isn't one near by, I always eat there if I happen to by nearby, especially in Florida.

The breakfast is really good and inexpensive but the other meals are okay but unexceptional, the service isn't all that great either, it's not the best restaurant I've gone to.

My friends and I go when the bars/clubs close in the early hours of the morning. Its a great place for us to mellow out, drink spiked bevs. and relax. I guess the food is ok, if your that hungry.
