What could be the cause of my left breast pain?

I have had a mammogram. ultrasound, chest xray & blood tests they all came back negative for cancer. But I have had a hot searing pain in my left breast & armpit for months & I have lost 35 lbs in a year without dieting. If anyone or DR out there can help please tell me what you think.

Update:

I don't have Aids, Diabetes & I'm not pregnant

Pinched back muscles often send the pains around your body on the nerves to be pains in the rib, chest or heart areas. The nerves your pains took ended up in your breasts instead. The pain in your arm can be from the nerve getting trapped by the back muscles to send the pain down it. to get rid of the pains you have to free up your back muscles to release the muscles and here's how to free them up: Back: (do while sitting) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

I think that it is time to get a second opinion. Talk to some of your friends and see if they have a Dr. or Specialist that they trust. This really sends off alarm bells. Did you tell the Dr. about the fast unexpected loss of weight. That in itself is cause for concern. Don't take no for an answer and keep at it till you find out what's really going on. God Bless you and good luck. I hope that you get an answer soon.

Had a similar pain in same location, but did not lose the wieght that you have. My pain was caused by an underwire bra, which shifted out of place, I have several all the same size, and none were quite right. Try going braless for a couple of days. With a weight loss this really sounds like it could be a thyroid problem Possibly a combination of the two, how about allergies to soaps or deodorants. maybe a pinched nerve.....don't give up, try and see a neurologist. Best wishes

Increase in hormones? Go back to the doctor and find out whats wrong. Just because your test came back negative for cancer dosent mean you dont have fibroids. Make them give you some answers!

Hormonal changes due to menopause, or perimenopause are possibilities worth considering.
