Have Democratic Presidential candidates that lean to the left already lost the election of 2008?

Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, already fighting over the anti war vote. Has the Democratic caucus gone mad? Is Howard Dean leading the Democrats in the right direction?

In the last congressional race, the more conservative Dems beat out the Republicans.

Does anyone believe that going to the left will win elections?

Update:

Well, you're right. If the Republicans put up a weak candidate it will be a win for the Dems.

Maybe Duncan Hunter will run?

I really don't care i just hope like hell it is not some IVY league trained hack and his Ivy League cronies infecting the White House. Why cant we get somebody, ANYBODY that is not part of the same CABAL of NITWITS that have ruled this country. I want to move to Canada if another "Skull and Crossbones" Yale, Harvard, whatever jerk rolls along.

i do not realize ideas to't see how the election replaced into mounted. the first time G.W. replaced into elected, he replaced into elected by technique of the god damn court docket and interior of an identical election, an excellent determination black voter's in florida couldn't vote beacause it stated they'd criminal information they did no longer have. Then there are the ignoramusus like you who turn a blind eye to the entire challenge and jusp save on screwin the entire usa over. And hillary clinton probably received't get the vote, i might want to opt to work out lieberman in place of work. or jennifer granholm. no longer gonna hapen, yet i wish it might want to.

Most people that I have talked to have noticed the wishy-washiness of Hillary already. Obama has just started his campaign, so we won't see honestly where he stands for some time. Kerry was too far to the left, that is why he lost for the most part. For the Dems to stand a chance, Guiliani needs to lose the primary. If he wins, the Dems are in trouble.

Going far left will mean defeat for the Dems in '08. I suspect Carl Rove is planning to assist the Dems clandestinely to nominate a far left Dem. Then he can elect another far right masquerading as centrist.

    No.

    It's just barely 2007.

How could something have already happened that's still almost 2 years away?

Of course, there will always be Republicans who have nothing better to do that to keep the boiling water stired up.

Sanity = Conservative, Communism = Liberalism. True Americans are conservative, and both parties are struggling because they are pushing America down the wrong road. It is time to take back to America For the People, by The People. JFK would be considered a conservative in today's day and age.

One of the dems will win the nomination, and at that point it is anyone's game. DO YOU honestly think that socially liberal Guiliani or that unlikeable McCain has any chance???
