Hey Dude! Wheres my Country gone? What version of Yahoo Q&A do you think your asking & answering questions on?
I believe I'm asking this Question on the British version of Yahoo Q&A (in fact I hit the UK button just to make sure) . If your not in the UK can I ask why your answering questions on this site? Understand that I've no objections to American Q&Aers coming here (provided they are aware where they are) and if anyone from abroad wants to improve their written English by coming here (well God help you) but your welcome.
Can you identify your Country. Whether your aware your on the UK site. What your motives if any are for being here. Not sure what I'm trying to prove yet, but I need more data.
It says UK & Ireland on my masthead as well (sorry not to have been inclusive of Southern Ireland)

I was curious about this earlier so I investigated.
On yahoo.co.uk it says it's UK & Ireland Answers. However, if you go to yahoo.com, which is the american/international site, it doesn't specify which country it is, and questions from the UK site are posted there.
So, as usual, it's yahoo's general incompetence that's created the problem. I can imagine you're not surprised...

Motives for being here? I'm on this site: http://answers.yahoo.com,/ as far as I can tell, that is a generic address as in not .co.uk.
Unless you're asking questions relating to your region, you will get answers from people across the world.
You're coming across quite pompous and I think you should realise that this is a community site (not solely for you)!

I'm from Australia, and i'm pretty sure you aren't in a UK section. I thought all things lead to here unless on the side you click all answers from UK.

Don't be daft. All the English speaking countries are lumped together.
So I might ask you...Do you know that you are on the U.S.A. Y!A?
Edit*
And by the way, Mr. "Improve your written English", there is a difference between "you're" and "your." Just so you know...
