If poverty contributes to violent crime, how come I never hear about trailer parks being shot up?

Trailer parks are shot up all the time, but the smarter criminals will go where the money is.

Poverty has nothing to do with crime. Criminal behavior is caused by a lack of respect. Most people don't rob or kill because we know it is wrong. We wouldn't want it done to us, so we don't do it to someone else.

Mainstream media have done an excellent job of glamorizing criminal behavior to young people. If you compare the movies of the last few decades with those made in the 1950s, you will notice some startling differences. In the 1950s, the criminal always went to jail. There was a positive message there for impressionable young people. Today, movies just show gratuitous violence, making it look exciting.

The recording industry has been promoting illegal drugs to kids for decades. Why would someone do something that is universally knows to be harmful to themselves, other than the fact that it is made to look glamorous and sophisticated?

Mainstream media are guilty of contributing to the delinquency of minors. They are the primary cause of the majority of crime and violence. They serve a political purpose. They justify politicians taking our freedoms away from us, in the same manner as terrorism does.

poverty doesn't contribute to crime.. white or black. greed does and that leads to black or white people feeling like everything has been taken away by the greedy people like royalty and governments or mega rich people.and then the some of the poor people feel such despair that they turn to drugs and get hooked so they have to turn to crime to feed there habit..the moral to this story is. the law of relativity is every action creates a equal and opposite reaction. so its not crime its a reaction.

Not sure how to untwist your logic about the nonexistence of bullet-riddled trailer parks. We have tornadoes that take care of that. That's what a Kansas twister and a Tennessee divorce have in common: Somebody's going to lose a motor home. I still maintain, however, that LACK of money is the root of all evil.

You know what fuker??? The black ghettos are being shot up over drug territory. The trailer parks are the ones who buys the drugs from the ghettos. Most are too doped up on meth and crack to shoot up anything.

But, it's quite interesting that all these crazy azz white people are out here shooting up shopping malls, killing innocent Mormon schoolgirls, shooting up their high schools and blowing up federal buildings. LOL. But that's different, right??? Yea..go *** yourself.

Oh yea, I almost forgot about the vast majority of white pedophiles compared to other races. Wow, the plot thickens, doesn't it?

I think people in trailer parks tend to either be senior citizens, low income families that are just trying to get by or druggies who can't afford a better place to live because they spend all of their money on their habit. There's crime in those parks...watch some episodes of Cops....

i dont believe poverty is a major contributer to crime ... many third world countries and cities that ive visited are ultra dirt poor, and violent crime is virtually non-existant in those places ... so are drugs and pornography and most of them are religeous ...
