Depends on the Brew, mass produced beers like Heineken and Bud only 6 months, check the 'use by' date on the package. Hand crafted, batch brewed, cask ales sometimes a couple of years and some more speciality beers even longer 10years +

I had some year-old bottled beer that had been kept in the fridge last weekend (my friend's 'clean out my refrigerator party').

Seemed OK to me, but I was drinking at the time.

Miller Lite and Sam Adams were at least a year old. Anything to help out a friend...

i'm a customer, no longer an authority on wine storage. that is been my journey that holding the wine interior the refrigerator is great. Wine, especially purple, will turn (to port or vinegar) whilst project to consistent temperature adjustments (warm to chilly) or whilst saved in a community that's above seventy six levels for an prolonged quantity of time. the suitable place to keep wine, in case you haven't any longer have been given a wine refrigerator, is a funky basement with a quite consistent temperature.

Beer.....stored????? Not in my realm. As long as it's unopened, it should have a shelf life of at least several months. But it may lose a good taste and tend to "sour". My suggestion would be to not buy more than you would drink in a month or two, then get more if you need it. CHEERS.

My dad kept a six pack in the fridge for a year. Once a year an old family friend would come over and have a couple. He didn't seem to mind year-old Budweiser.

There is a BEST USED by date on the bottle, can etc. After that date it's your call.
