Why doesn't all hair get long on your body?

The hair on your head will grow on and on, but pubic hair and the hair on your arms and legs only grown to a certain length. Why is this? Weird question, I know, but I am serious and am very curious about why this is.

Even the hair on your head only grows to a certain length. I think it's 3 feet or a little over.

it just takes longer to grow out, it will grow long if you let it go long enough.

    You must mean:

"Why doesn't all of the hair on your body grow as long as the hair on your head?"

I refuse to answer your question based on the fact that it was so inelegantly posed.
