Spiritual Poem I wrote..what do you think?

"Troubled Soul"

You stood before me strong and tall

A mountain of love you give your all

You came into my life at a time I was low

And showed me love and the right way to go

All my pain and sorrow I put into your hands

I know no one else has the power but you can

To take my soul and wrap it in your arms

And keep it safe from all lifes harm

Worldly love I can get anywhere

But to save my soul takes a lot of care

The kind I get from only you

The kind I know will always be true

So I stand before you today

And with all my heart I pray

That you will take this troubled soul

And keep it safe as I grow old.

This poem has been copy writed and published.But I'm not giving my real name[sorry] ..Thanks for the kind compliments guys.And it did come from my heart..

    Why do you all feel the need to disparage something that comes from a person's heart?

    Lady bug, I too think you should have your poem copyrighted and perhaps see about having it set to music.

    I don't think this is a good site to post it on; you won't get very many serious answers from people who actually like poetry or care, not saying I don't.
