There is an old saying, "If March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb," and vice versa. Lion-bad weather, lamb-mild weather.

i imagine this is merely quaint. In Kansas you may extremely see the declaring. today this is coming in like a lion. this is totally windy and today this is seventy one. although, the following day the temperature is meant to drop substantially, storms are coming in, we are lower than a flash flood watch, and then the rain will turn to snow. of route that doesn't advise the top of March should not be wild besides.

It is talking about the weather. March starts out really cold (bad weather) and then Spring comes around and it is nicer out.
