Does being an Atheist necessarily include having STDs and hangovers?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aqyzs...

There are multiple answers to this question that suggest as such. What would lead one to believe such a thing?

Asked by an atheist who has no STDs and only a couple hangovers.

I suppose it would make your life more interesting if you had those things. And I have a had a few hangovers myself. No STDs as I recall tho.

Atheists usualy have an education so they use condoms. This prevents the transmission of STD. Hangovers, yes I got quite a few but that was a long time ago.

No STD's here and a couple of hangovers as well. Probably more religious people with STD's and hangovers. I know of more religious girls who got pregnant very young, oops and not married. That must have been immaculate conception, just like Mary.

Considering my past, I'm actually quite surprised that I don't have any STD'S... Hangovers, on the other hand... but what does that have to do with me being an atheist? I don't think that the herpes virus checks to see if its host is an atheist or not before it infects...

It has to do with believers thinking that since we do not worship a god, we must be out there living terrible lives.

I work very hard, take care of my children, don't break the law, pay my taxes, and always do the right thing. And, I do this without the fear of being judged by some fictional deity.

How stupid. Believe what you want to believe as far as religion, but those who think there are no Christians or other conservatives out there with no stds or beer alcohol in the fridge are proving their ignorance. I wish preachy people everywhere would learn to live and let live- (And shut their mouths for the sake of sounding ignorant)

I'll be waiting for that violation notice, but sometimes it's so worth it...

No. Religious people get STD's and hangovers as well.

How many people have you seen drunk in bars/parties or the at the STD clinic wearing crosses and other religious jewelry?

Source(s): Worked at a clinic for awhile and went to quite a few bars/parties in my lifetime.

Have never had an STD and haven't touched alcohol since 1986 (I just don't like it!) so I guess I'm not really an atheist? lol

That comment (by whomever said that...I don't recall her nick) gets the dumbest comment of the day vote from me.

I'm Agnostic and I've had hangovers but never any STD's.

I don't drink and I've never had an STD. Maybe I should get out more and live a bit.
