Is Christainity saved??

Dear Christain fellows!

There are some discoveries in christainity like tomb of jesus(pbuh) , wife of jesus Mary Magdalene and his bloodline etc...while taking it true, it would change some basic concepts of christanity, especialy if they claim that they have found the bones of Jesus, that would contradict the believe that jesus(pbuh) is alive... Movies like 'the Davinci Code' tried to prove the Mary Magdalene being the

wife of jesus and his bloodline true....and i have seen many christains believing in these discoveries.....So my question is that don't you think that adding such things in christainity would change the picture of it?and also would it not contradict Jesus(pbuh) being a God or son of God? i am interested in serious opinions only ! Thanx

Update:

SENECA ...PBUH means "Peace be upon Him"

Update 2:

Salahuldin ,i am a muslim and it does not make any difference for me if Jeus(pbuh) was married..but i m just confused about christanity that if he was married and had bloodline , doen't it prove that he was a human?? as i have heard few christains fellows saying that Gods do not marry and only human get married ! I am being respectful christain fellows !

If people see these things as being true, then it would change Christianity. However, because the supposed "proof" for all these things is very much speculative and based on fairy tale like stuff that the Christian Church actually condemned a long time ago as being heretical and not good evidence of anything, it doesn't change a thing in the Church because there really is no proof for any of these things that these people say there is proof for. I think that they come up with these ideas basically because they are upset with Christianity for one reason or another, and then they read some book written by some guy who read one text that spoke about supposed ideas in Christianity that would oppose those of the Bible, then they say that they have "proof" against the beliefs of Christianity. These people are very much misled by other people who really have not done a very good job looking into both sides of the matter, but instead have only looked at finding supposed proof for their own side. The best arguments are presented by those who have done extensive research into both sides of the matter and then come up with a stance on the matter based on their research. Some of the authors of these books need to actually use the education that they have in their research on these topics, because they are having people still working on their university degrees (ie. myself) destroying their arguments.

How would they be able to prove the bones they found are in fact Jesus's? What are you comparing the DNA to?

Anyways, it would not change the face of Christianity as a whole, since they aren't just "discoveries", they are discoveries followed by theories so there's no "evidence."

The fact that it would contradict the already established word of God proves to the true Christian any "discoveries" or crack-pot theories remain flawed and therefore the faith will remain intact.

Men get married to women and have children all the time. Why would it be such a big deal if Jesus (pbuh) did the same? In fact, back then (and should still apply today I believe) in the Jewish faith, a Rabbi HAD to be married.

P.S. for Seneca: PBUH means Peace be upon him. We of the Islamic faith say this after mentioning any prophet of Allah.

The whole crux that Christianity is founded on is that Christ was born of immaculate conception and that he is the true son of God. In the event that he is just a human, then it ruins the whole religion. Darn, they will have to give all that money and land and art, etc back to the people. So much for their multi-trillion dollar per year business.

Christianity is constantly under assault, I don't remember many times that it wasn't in the last 30 years. Whether books or movies or tv shows or whatever. The enemy is anxious to confuse people about the truth so these attacks will never end. I think most Christians are aware of that and don't believe these things as they continually come up. Maybe those younger in the faith do, but most of us expect it and know we can continue to expect it.

Well, if you want these things to change the angle at which you look at christianity no ones going to stop you. its just like somebody wakes up tomorrow and says the sea is orange and the sky maroon--- would that change tha actual colour of the sea and sky??

i dont think so. please don t let yourself fall into the traps of Godless people.

anyway i ve given quite a serious answer i hope.

those bones cannot be proven to be christ's despite "dna checks"

According to God's Word, Jesus only bled in three places, the garden of Gethsemane, in Pilate's palace, and on Mount Calvary. I don't think CSI was there to get samples.

Same thing applies to Mary M. being married to Christ.

Evidence of this sort, or indeed of any sort, will have no effect on the basic tenets of Christianity. People believe in it because it makes them feel good, not because it has any rational basis. This is the case with Islam also.

that may no longer close to following Christ and is no longer tolerated as a branch of Christianity, in the journey that your going to make up a "church" provide it an unique call, do no longer associate it with something...
