STL Rams=Playoffs next year?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but NO! StL's O-line is pretty ragged, Bulger's made himself pretty comfortable with the ground with 49 sacks!! You got Old man River Isaac Bruce who was sidelined all of last year cause his toe hurt! You let go of your other pretty ok rec, so you really have no complement to Holt. Actually, you're receiving core is not getting any younger... i mean who do you have McDonald? Looker? Please! Your defense isn't much worse than the Niners (at least the Niners upgraded!) giving up 23.8 pts per game! Dude the only respectable player you have is Steven Jackson and maybe Holt if he still has gas in his tank! Other than that we should be referring to your Rams as "The oldest Show on Turf!"

The Rams have a realistic shot of football in January '08. So do the Seahawks, 49ers, and Cardinals. My point is, they play in the NFC Worst, where a mediocre, injury depleted Seahawks team held the "championship" last season, who could have been easily knocked off by the young, underachieving 49ers. If the offensive line would have shown up and if "the Bears weren't who we thought they were", the Cardinals could have marched into the postseason. The Rams were there last season too, so I see no reason why they shouldnt contend this season. Its very much a reality they clinch a playoff spot with an 8-8 or 9-7 record. They got the tools on offense to compete with anybody in football, and they've made a few moves to add to the defense (getting Hall from Detroit was huge, although the Bennett signing shocked me) But what happens after that? A swift first round butt kicking and 6 months to cry about it. There are still at least four teams in the NFC better than them (New Orleans, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia)

First of all, the Rams had the worst division record. Second of all, the Seahawks beat the Rams twice in the season. Third of all, the 49ers have improved drastically with great FA signings, and the Rams could not stop Frank Gore nor could most teams. As for the Cardinals, you split against them, regardless of how pitiful their franchise is they owned the NFC West. Seahawks had key injuries last year and it doesn't matter how much money they shove out, they can beat the Rams. 49ers will most likely be the top contender for the title, and they can handle the Rams fairly well.

Rams will not and nor will any other team in the NFC West make it to the Super Bowl.

Rams are terrible vs the 49ers. They had to ride a wave of emotion to win their last meeting. The Seahawks won't be "cursed" anymore. I think the Rams will finish 3rd in their division as the Cardinals haven't really shown any real improvement. If the Rams want the 2nd Wildcard, they'll have to compete with the Falcons, Giants/Cowboys (Depending on who does better conference wise), and probably the Panthers.

The Rams have no defense, so kiss the playoff hopes good bye, their offensive players are still from their Super Bowl.

Any NFC West team has a chance at the playoffs. Thats a bad division in a bad conference. I think you underestimate the 49ers. They have made some good moves in the offseason and I expect good things from them next season. Seattle seems to have been on somewhat of a downhill slide, but the Rams still couldn't figure out a way to beat them last year. So I think that division is wide open and up for grabs.

The NFC West sucks so bad I could see the Rams winning it. As lousy as the rest of the NFC is, I still don't see the Rams in the Super Bowl.

I believe so the NFC is a easy conference and I believe they can very well make the playoffs.

of course not......with all there injuries...Holt is old already, Jackson is alright, bulgier is whatever,so i think they will not even make the playoff...sorry...seahawks will win the division....
