Jews, Christians, and Muslims, ...?

If Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad were space aliens, would you still follow their teachings?

Is it the morality of their teachings that you value, or is it really something else?

Update:

It's a hypothetical question. Is it against the 10 commandments to answer one of those?

Heheh. Well I'm not a Jew, Christian, or a Muslim... I'm an Ásatrúar.

But to answer your question, if I found out that my Gods were actual space aliens, yes I would still follow them and I'd think that'd be pretty cool and I wouldn't be disappointed.

And I thought most atheists were inclined to be intelligent. I guess every group has its bad apples.

Jesus wouldn't have been a space alien. The entire point of God assuming a human form through Jesus was so that he could relate to our pain and our struggles. A space alien certainly has pain and struggles of his own, but they would obviously be different than those of mankind.

It is preposterous order to teach first, and learn after.

Pst - 'Christ-ianity' is about "Christ" of "Jesus -> Christ".

    Problem is, "many" still @ss u me it's about Jesus-ianity;

    As if desiring "division" & "not peace": Mt 10:34, Lk 12:51;

rather than "peace" is not dividead: Jn 14:27; 1Cor; Eph 2.

I see you're among the "many" who also desire this division.

Romans 16:17 notably says to MARK and AVOID such like.

As for Jews vs Muslims, it's a them vs them thing,

which is kinda like children of Hatfields vs McCoys,

where both also feud amongst, oppose them-selves.

Human secularism? It's as deadly as Biblical literalism.

You too can bend over, dble kiss divided @ss bye bye.

For by the using of ordinances, all ("them" folk) perish.

The end of the God Shew is notably already written.

Getting there alive unto God involves a weight loss.

Drop the weight witch so easily besets: law <- law.

Heb 12: Then do the end run along with patience to:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

  • I happen to think that it is just more than morality...

I ( a Christian ) believe in the words of the bible

& believe they are the words of God . I know I am NEVER going to be perfect until I die, but I try everyday to live the life God wants me to live & not the way of the world. I am thankful that

Jesus died on the cross so that anyone

(when they repent of thier sins) may come to know Christ & have eternal life in heaven when

    they die

Eveyone has a right to decide if they believe in

the bible or not, it's faith.

The morality is good, BUT Jesus came back to life after He was killed on the cross. He is God. This is why I follow Christianity.

Number one : Mohammed does not even belong in this group.

Moses was a man of God. Jesus Christ was the Son of God.

Mohammed taught that Christ was NOT the Son of God.

I follow Jesus Christ because I value the love that He showed for me by dying for me. He suffered the torture of that cross for me !! He loves me that much, and personally I find the space alien comment offensive and unnecessary. Jesus' teachings are SERIOUS business ! How can you actually make a comparison between the son of the living God and a 'space alien' ?

I love Jesus. I love God. Why do you find fault in that ? Why do you offend people that love the Lord ? Do you hate Jesus that much ?

    You refuse to accept God.

    You refuse to accept Jesus.

You refuse to accept His gift of dying for you.

You refuse to accept His gift of salvation.

You refuse to accept His gift of eternal life.

You refuse to even believe in Him.

As you reject Him, so shall God reject you.

What a waste, and what a pity.

Moses,Jesus and Mohammed were all born on earth not in space.

As for morals:It is something to strive for:Strive to be perfect as God is perfect: Everything else is law and morals and both tend to tear at us due to our concience. That is, if a person has one.

first off I would like to start out by saying I am a BIG fan of Stargate and that your Atvar rocks.

Second if it turned out that any of the above people were aliens it might give me more reason to study their teachings.

After all if these people went though so much trouble to help humanity I should at least hear their message.

If all of the principles; despite the bad, on the whole are sound and just; the answere is yes. People are always going to find fault no matter what.

I find it odd that many religious people readily believe in angels, which are supernatural beings who come down from "heaven", but they don't believe in UFO-type aliens.

    Hypocrisy. It's what's for dinner.
