why do i need answers from people i don't know?

You don't NEED them, but you my want them!

Curiosity. It give you a perspective from people outside your normal circle of friends and family.

It can also help if you can't find the answer to a problem elsewhere. I had a computer problem and couldn't find the answer on the Internet. No one I knew could figure it out either. I decided to ask it on here and within 10 minutes someone I don't know gave me the solution.

In the first place, they don't know you too!

This gives an advantage to their answers. Because they give you their clear idea not being influenced by your personality, your feelings, their feelings towards you. Sometimes, taking a distance is useful. Especially when they ask your opinion on something.

1.because sometimes you can't see the trees for the forest.

4. you're bored out of your skull and have nothing better to do

5. You're hoping to meet someone "hot" or find something out that will help you meet someone "hot"

6. You just can't help yourself

The human tendency is that to believe a unknown person rather then a known person.The persona will believe the same answer from unknown person rather to believe that same answer from known.

well i talk to a lot of people, an most tell me it easy to tell a stranger, than some one they know,,,.

Because even if you don't know them, they can laways give you helpful advice.
