I would suggest you take the time and go back to school. You can take online classes. You may want to look for a position that is paying more and try to supplement your income with state assistance. There are programs within the state that can assist you with daycare and there is also WIC program. That program offers assistance to working parents with food for the kids. Ensuring that they are getting their daily regiments of vitamins and minerals.

I am a single mother and I have an occupation as an assistant; so I marketed those skills and now I have a second position as a personal assistant and I only work on special events. So I may do about 4 events a year and get paid about 500 - 1200 per event. But the person that I am working for is in news radio.. so they can afford to pay me. I do basic typing and confirming venues and sending out thank you letters to donors. You have to use your talents to your best advantage. I am a good typist so I also seek out opportunities to make money typing. You could pick up $100 typing and transcribing ...good luck

I was in a similar situation, working around the clock, never seeing the kids, no life, etc. What I did, was keep my full time day job and run a business at the same time. It's always in your best interest to own a business for tax reasons, but if your back is to the wall, you might be surprised at how quickly you can not only meet, but surpass your current income. I market a health and wellness product that is doing absolutely phenomenal. If you are willing to learn, work with your team and follow your dream, you will never have to work outside your home again, and have plenty of income to enjoy your life with your children. Not to mention, being able to attend all of their school functions, Dr. appts, etc. It comes with full training and mentoring, and an entire team works with you to help you see your goals and start seeing life from an entirely new perspective! The best move I ever made.

First, if you are working 2 or 3 jobs you may want to consider going back to court to increase the support money. Something isn't right.

You could do what a few single moms have done and turn a hobby into a business. Selling stuff on e*Bay is a pretty simple exercise - you need a digital camera and the ability to get stuff to a post office to ship. Doing swap meets or craft fairs on the weekend is also possible with kids in tow. Anything homemade sells - cookies, picture frames, scarves, etc. Think of a solution to something that frustrates you as a mom, and market it. The SBA (Small Business Administration) office in your area often offers free advice and low-interest loans to start your own enterprise.

    Good luck!

As you must have found out by now...it's exceedingly difficult to do without a college education. I struggled working a lower paying job and taking classes untill I had that college degree. Getting that degree not only met my financial needs...it also set a great example for my children....they have all went to college (one is still going), It also showed them that working hard and making sacrifices for a goal was worth it. There was nothing as good as a college education to me.

Well without college its going to be hard. (U could go at night, like at National University, that's what i'm doing) but you could also get a job with a school district or do the whole stocks thing. But I would invest the time with college, it can and will open tons of doors and won't kill u off...completely anyways : )

Email me with your location and skillsets, and I will give you advice.

The most important thing is Money and Coverage. You need the kids to have healthcare. Your happiness comes secondary, if nobody told you that yet. Sorry. :-(

But you can make it through. Many have done so before you.

You may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time.

Source(s): I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit http://www.door2more.com/ I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)
