Canada seal pup hunt?

I wrote to the High Commissioner and The Canadian PM. Also to Blair. No reply from any of them. I then wrote to the minister for tourism in Canada to tell him what damage it was doing to the reputation of his country outside of it. No reply. I then put an answer question. I was reported as a violation. That was because I in a free country of free speech insulted the Canadian government. Time is not the issue as we have seen with Japan killing whales and dolphins its the people who import their products to other parts of the world. My opinion of th people who do it is they are scum. Their governments see only money and votes. Man is destroying this world we live in and the barbaric wanton destruction of animals is a crime.

Makes me sick how people talk of Canadians' rights but they don't give any rights whatsoever to the animals! Just shows how low people are.

I am personally against the seal pup hunt, like you said, it is barbaric. But,it is their heritage, and I will not take that right away from them. I live in America, so I have no right to take away their culture.

why does it need to stop? the seal population is regulated and those cute little monsters have depleted the already non-existent cod stocks (I'm talking about areas around Newfoundland)...How about we take all this energy and figure out a way to bring back the Cod which are practically extinct? ....If you really care about animals you would have the stomach to see which ones are REALLY in need of protection.
