How many ounces...?

are in a 1.5 liter water bottle? I am on a strict diet and need to drink 80 to 100 oz of fluids a day, this includes coffee, tea, diet soda, etc.. I do not want to over do it , so I need to figure out how many ounces are in a 1.5 liter.

Thanks!

1.5 liters is approximately 50 fluid ounces (US).

A liter is just slightly more than a quart (which is 32 ounces) so a 1.5 liter is close to 50 ounces.

By the way -- I am suspicious of the source of this "diet" of yours because water is NOT interchangeable with those other beverages. It makes a huge difference nutritionally and metabolicly whether you drink water instead of soda, coffee and tea. All those three will tend to dehydrate you because they contain diuretics!! Stick to water -- tea, coffee and soda are NOT valid substitutes.

Coffee, tea, diet soda and water have no calories.

8 ounces of orange juice has about 100 calories

Crystal Light has about 8 calories per 20 ounces
