Hey UK tax payers!?

What do you think about the budget then? 50 Million to the rain forrest, good move but not what we need, tabs up, beer up, who the hell are they trying to kid? . . . . I worked out today, giving up my smoking habit, stop driving a modestly large vehicle, downsizing my abode, I could have approx an extra £200 - £250 pounds a month, I've never thought about turning to tax free things before! No wonder there is a demand for street corner drugs!!

I've worked out I would be much better off if I gave up my business and my house, and got a council house and lived off benefits.

Beginning to wonder why I bother...

I am always amused by people like 'jam' who want to bring the Tories in as a defence against a practically non event budget. Strange that Brown never mentions that this government followed the fiscal rules laid down by Ken Clarke for the first two years of their financial governing. One thing for certain is that for ordinary reasonably paid workers this government has taxed us like never before, still that's socialism for you.

The disabled and the carers always get a kick in the teeth. The Budget is a load of nonsense, nothing more and nothing less. It certainly has made the rich richer and the poor poorer. I am waiting for the day when he taxes going to the toilet, breathing fresh air and also pavement tax.

Smokes and mirrors, he gives with one hand and the Treasury takes twice as much with the other. For all those people who have worked hard and earned a good living, he takes away to squander and waste on Public Consultants.

Labour = Tax and spend (waste)

The best idea would be to sell up. Move abroad to a nice hot place. Buy another property there....at a fraction of British prices. Put the balance into a bank in the country you're in.

Jump on the next plane.... come back to Britain, and claim asylum!!

I agree with Naplusultra one one thing - where is the extra help for the disabled and their carers, and help for the elderly too. Only India for IVF? Poland for dental work? I wish I could afford to go abroad at all!

Total farce as usual mate. Nothing for Disability Living Allowance or carers allowance. Nothing to help people on JSA. Nothing for the homeless.

No rain forests in UK so why should we give £50 million to save another countries trees!!!!

As for booze and fags I refuse to pay the tax on them. I Source them elsewhere.

We have to go to India for IVF treatment and Poland for Dentistry and medical care. As he has destroyed NHS.

Noticed he raised the inheritance tax to just above his house value though.

in a country where 1 in 3 are claiming benifits, perhaps we should give up and move overseas. Makes you wonder why immigrants are desperate to get in, but walking around Basingstoke yesterday I wondered if they are the 1 in 3 who are claiming!

All in all a pretty neutral budget. Obviously it will upset a few greedy people but then, budgets always do.

Same old thing time after time . They want workers to work all week and not be able to afford any of the pleasures that they enjoy to pay for their big fat wages , their banquets , private jets , holidays and chauffeur driven cars and then they just try to make you more miserable .........
