a company wants to import children's books into UK from China bcos local production is costly?

a UK ltd company printing children's books for years and now thinking about investment in Thailand or Argentina but one option is chinese suppliers to import in UK. what r the import laws in UK for those books; would it b a great idea?

    I am in the US so the UK specific law may different. Either way I don't think our laws are a problem. Since China is a Communist country and every facet of the society is controlled by the government, they have very strict laws on what can be published. For instance no porno even the softest content, any map of China has to be government approved , of couse taiwan has to be shown as a Chinese territory, etc.

    I say go ahead make them in China but if you are going to bring them back to the U.K. it will cost you to the point that it will not be worth it to use Chinese slaves. Don`t give your industrial might and self efficiency away like we did in American.
