Adrenal fatigue is the result of continuous overstimulation of the adrenal glands....constant low or high levels of stress cause the body to react in a fight or flight mode. Adrenaline production increases in the body.....if the body does not recover and come back to a baseline the adrenals are overworked and become exhausted. This can lead to an adrenal crisis.
