Support our President and our troops?

No we don't have to stand and support him. He made a wrong decision and we should not support a wrong decision. I don't blindly follow just because someone is of the same party, or same religious belief system, or because they are nice looking. I analyze what was done and what was said and come to conclusions based on that. Bush is a liar, incompetent and corrupt. He surrounds himself with people just like himself.

You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine.

If I call the White House they'll probably tap my phone. Anyway they won't like what I have to say. I don't like using those four letter words so I think I just won't bother.

Why do we need to "fight to the end"? The end of WHAT? What is it we are trying to accomplish?

We "stand strong" by asking for ACCOUNTABILITY and NOT fighting terrorism by disregarding the values we claim to hold so dear.

By the Way it is the PRESIDENT who would be well advised to learn to "support our troops". If this statement confuses you, you obviously haven't been watching the news the last few weeks.

I may call the White House, but what I will say will be "slightly"

different than "I express my Support".

that's not really a question, but this war is more important to us (as far as winning) then any other foreign war in our history. We should support the war, our troops, and their commander (Pres. Bush), no matter what our political party, or ideology may be, unless of course you really do hate this country. Conservatives should not let ourselves be beaten down by all the bad liberal press. WE must stand tall. America must fight this war till the enemy is defeated.

I absolutely support our troops. It's not like they can come home until the chief tells them they can. You should have given us a link or a way to contact the White House to express our support. Some people don't know how to do this and they are the ones that really want to. Google works wonders though..

I can support half of that, the troops, I support them by bringing them home where they belong. However YOUR president can take a mile trip on a half mile road as far as I am concerend because he is dumber then a pile of rocks.

edit: I would also like to say that he heads the most criminal and corupt administration of any president that I have seen in my 61 years and that include Dick (I am not a crook) Nixon and Ronald ( Iran/Contra) Reagan.

It is this type of logic that is what is keeping us in Iraq. Before you say anything, I do believe we should still support our troops, as most people do, but if you don't like the president, feel free to not support him. If we all had to support our leader, this would not be a representative democracy, it would be facism.

i wonder if you'll post this if a democrat wins the white house - will you still feel so stongly to support the president when the war is inherited by the next admin. or will then it be ok by you to protest the pres? just wondering.
