Should i complain to my dog groomer?
Ive been to this dog groomer twice before and have always stayed with my dog. But this time barney was going with my anties dog Daisy, so i decided to leave him. I thought they would be around 3 hours as Barney usually takes 2 hours. But an hour later i was called to collect the dogs. The groomer said she had accediently cut a wart of my dogs belly ( i never noticed a wart before and i groom him everyday and notice everythink). But he was really short so i was shocked as he looked like a different dog so never took much notice of the gash and left. I paid her £25.00 or around $55.00. When i got home the coat was very patchy and uneven. The gash on his stomach was deep and he also had a nasty one on the base of his tail!
Shall i complain, or just leave it? How could she cut him so bad?
Thanks for all your answers!

Are you sure the same groomer groomed your dog?
I think you should go to the groomer with your dog,
and show her the things that you are unhappy with.
It would have a greater impact if you go in person with the dog.
I wouldnt bother calling her on the phone.
It needs to be handled in person.
I'm wondering, did you sign any papers *ever* before you had her groom your dog? (even if only before the first groom, it would go in your file)
Some groomers will not groom your dog without you signing legal documents explaining that you are giving them permission to work on your dog and that they will not be held responsible for accidents that may occur while working on a 'moving animal' (even the most careful person can have an accident at times especially if the animal makes a sudden and unexpected mo0vement)
If you signed any papers, did you read them entirely?
Again, if you DID sign papers stating what I mentioned....
you could still go and let her know how unpleased you are,
but be for warned that she is probably going to want to know why you waited and didnt handle things before leaving with the dog.

I think you should talk to her about it and let her know how you feel. If she works for someone else then I would complain to her manager. I think you are entitled to a refund and I would find out if there is a way to warn others about this groomer. Your vet may also back you up or have suggestions on how to get your money back and warn others.

Poor dog! Complain, tell all your friends about it, and you might think about taking the dog to the vet. I would send the "groomer" the vet bill for her accident. Warts? Are you sure they weren't the dog's nipples?

Complain, ask for your money back and find a new groomer. If you ended up with a vet bill, I'd present that to her as well.

You need to complain! The groomer didn't do her job! If anything, she should owe you a fee!

Heck, yes, you should complain! And don't go back to her. And tell her you won't be back because she is incompetent at grooming. And that you will let your friends know exactly what happened.
