What is this plant? help!?

I saw this the other day while I was out walking, and was intrigued. I have never seen this plant before and would like very much to know what it is.

    Hello -

That is not Hens and Chickens. I will venture a guess that it is a Euphorbia (spurge) based on the flowers and leaf growth/pattern. As to the exact species, my succulent knowledge is waning from what it once was. I doubt any common garden centre could identify it; but, perhaps send it to an online succulent retailer. I am still convinced tho it is clearly related/from the very large Euphorbia family based on the unique "flower" patterns (such as: http://www.greektravel.com/greekislands/kea/walkin... o http://www.dobrepole.pl/pic/euphorbia_myrsinites_0... )

That looks an awful LOT like PEPPEROMI OBTUSIFOLIA.

Check here to see if it looks similar to you. It's just that I have never seen one flower like the one you saw.

Looks what I always called "hens and chicks" - It's a succulent (duh) - take the picture to your local garden shop and I am sure they can fix you right up.
