What resources do some of you use to give your information about the Bible?
I have read all sorts of answers about the Bible and would like to know where those of you especially who don't believe go to get your information. I pretty much know where Christians go but where do non believers get their information and why do you believe what you read?

As for Christians who accept that Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior the best source of information is the Bible and I am one of those people that accepts Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I can testify to the fact that the moderator of this group is Christian also. As for the non-believer I really don't know where they get their information about the Bible, but I do know that some of them try to read it as a secular book. But that really doesn't work because you have to have God's Holy Spirit to really understand it. God's Holy Spirit is free to those who ask him for it. Now as for some groups who think they're Christians and think they understand the Bible such as JW's they are deceived by Satan. They think they are the only group who will be saved. How Sad. Having said that. Let me say that I used to be a Jehovah's Witness and I can honestly say that I and Others in that Group truly love God and Jesus, but I was brainwashed and they are too. The only way to get out of the Organizations grip is to pray and Others who Loved me were praying for me also. Also you need to stop being afraid to do outside research and really find out what your religion is based on. Is it built on Sand or is it built on a Solid foundation. I'll stop right here. I hope I help to answer your question.

For a quick reference I use this:
http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/
It has the original text and margin notes. It isn't a matter of believing all the notes. The original text is right there in context. They even have a place with Christian responses.
I read the Bible cover to cover about 25 years ago. I though that it was horrible all on my own.

I get my information from the same place anyone would, books! And I could ask you the same question, why do you believe what you read? Some people choose to believe it and others don't. Simple really.

I get my information from the Bible, a concordance, not to mention having studied to enter the ministery,(until I saw it to be the crock of bull that it is.) Guess, you could say I'm a bit of a non-believer. LoL!

I've noticed a great deal of non-believers use scripture out of context. They seem to use the Bible as well, but they pick and choose isolated verses that APPEAR to fit their own beliefs or agenda. However, if you were to study it further, you'd find that they neglected to include what the Bible says prior to, and following that isolated verse, which takes it out of context.

Err, common sense!
Articles written by renowned academic and scientific institutions, that have NO hidden agenda in the existence or non existence of proof of a theory.
Believe in what YOU want to believe!
That is why it is called a belief.
But DO NOT insult the intelligence of others.

They also depend on YouTube here I noticed. The typical thing they try to feed us Christians is anything that claims the Bible is wrong. They will trust that information is it appears to be antigod. Not a very scholarly approach, but it's good enough for them.

I go directly to the source
the Torah, or in my case my Tanach
(because the Torah itself is generally on scrolls at shul)
I can also get it online
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Bible/...
if it's not covered directly than I go to websites that I trust and which I know has accurate and true information that pertains to my religion

The year I spent studying Christianity at university gave me a sound knowledge of scripture.
