Extend Addresses?

How do I extend my addresses so my 32bit can read 4gb of memory.It reads 3.5 in windows.Other .5gb is allocated to pci devices.I am not a noob so no dumb anwsers please.

    How is it possible to read by "32 bit" as 4GB!!! I am also eager and curious to get answers from others about it!

    Windows allocates memory as it needs to run system processes and application processes, windows do whats the best for your system.....

    The maximum address space for a a 32 bit is 4gb, period.

    2gb for user and 2 for system. The system portion must map the I/O page so the only solution is to use a 64 bit processor with a motherboard that supports extended addressing.
