How to clean your washing machine?
At the top of my washing machine I have this build up of sticky blackish grayish stuff. I have tried millions of times to clean it, but it is really sticky. So is there something safe to put in the washing machine, like lime away or something and let it run a cycle or 2 on it?

Half a bottle of white vinegar during a full cycle on full load. Then fill again with cold water and place the other half of a bottle of the vinegar in the machine and let soak over night. Empty in the morning and the marks will have all gone.

Try CLR if the vinegar solution doesn*t work, because CLR is much stronger.
