Thanks for taking the time to post this. Trying to keep up with all of the recalls is so hard, more and more foods keep getting added. It's making my head spin.

When dog food is recalled for Salmonella it's more for the protection of the humans handling the food that for the safety of the dog. Dogs can safely ingest salmonella....it's when humans handle the food and then don't immediately wash their hands that there can be a problem. I also feed Raw so I'm sure my dogs ingest salmonella regularly, which makes this recall not all that alarming since you should always wash your hands after handling dog food whether you are feeding kibble or raw.

Interesting... yet NOT at all suprizing. *shrug*
If people would listen and take thier animals off crappy foods... and get them on Human Grade Organic Pet foods... this wouldn't be happeneing.
Education is the key here.
Do not feed foods with fillers, or byproducts and don't trust what your vet tells you. My vet didn't know squat until I educated him.
Take responsibilty people! These are your babies... take care of them as such!
